The newly built Sandy Park Hotel in Exeter, located adjacent to the iconic Exeter Chiefs Rugby Stadium, needed a High-Performance UV Ventilation System to match the prestige of the venue. Tasked with completing the catering facilities, KF Bartlett Ltd turned to Kitchen Vent Technical Ltd (KVT) to design and supply a commercial kitchen ventilation system that would meet strict planning requirements, provide low maintenance, and ensure minimal odour discharge.
Tailored UV Ventilation for a Demanding Project
KVT selected products from its ClearAir Spectrum Range — an advanced series of ventilation canopies equipped with integrated Ultraviolet (UV) filtration systems. These systems utilise high-intensity UVC light sources to actively “burn off” grease and odours from the contaminated airstream. The result for a High-Performance UV Ventilation System is a safer, cleaner kitchen environment with:

In addition to the core ventilation system, KVT delivered a range of bespoke fabrication elements tailored to the needs of the Sandy Park Hotel kitchen, including:

- SDUs fitted with Salamander Grill Shelves to enhance kitchen functionality
- Bakery and pot-wash area extract canopies, designed to match both performance and aesthetic
